Birdies Suite & Rooftop Lounge offers next to accommodation and depending on the length of stay a free airport pick up and drop off a variety of services / complimentary housekeeping once a week. Free of charge services are for example: Assistance in planing your tours and activities around the Island/ booking your golf tee times / and travel consultations. With an extra cost you can book tours / private chef dinners/ Spa treatments and pre arrival shopping for your groceries / beverage needs.

  • Once you have sent your reservation request we will confirm availability and forward the confirmation and invoice to you via email.
  • To secure the booking you will have to pay a deposit of 33% of your total amount due upon booking.  (Please be informed that our prices displayed on this page are in USD) 
  • You are able to cancel your booking and receive a full refund up to 30 days prior to your arrival. 
  • The remaining amount is due latest on your day of arrival.
  • Simply pay via Paypal, Bank Transfer, cash upon arrival. 
  • Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused  for not being able to process Debit or Cebit Cards as yet. 

We are located in Meadows of Irwin, a gated comunity in the surrounding hills of Montego Bay. If you are already in Jamaica and explore the island,  are a local to visit Montego Bay we are more than happy to send you a PIN via Google Maps for easy directions. 

Visa requirements for Jamaica depend on your nationality. Travelers from the European Union, UK, Canada and the USA do not require a visa for tourist stays up to 90 days. 

However all international travelers must have a valid passport that is good for the duration of the stay. 

To be allowed entry to Jamaica you must have the following: 

  • A valid Passport
  • A return or onward ticket
  • Proof of sufficient funds
  • A completed Immigration / Customs C5 Form which can be filled out online before you arrive as early as 30 days prior to your arrival.

Important Notice: Please double check with the Jamaican Immigration Ministry for possible updates in regulations prior to your travel.

Travelers visiting Jamaica should primarily use the Jamaican Dollar (JMD), but a mix of cash and card is recommended.

  • Jamaican Dollars (JMD) Official currency - you will get the best prices and avoid unfavorable exchange rates by using JMD, especially at local shops, markets and for taxis
  • US Dollars (USD) - are widely accepted in major tourist areas and some tours. However be aware that vendors set their own exchange rates, which may not be favorable.
  • Credit & Debit Cards - are accepted at most large restaurants and major tourist shops. It is a convenient option for larger purchases.

Advise in a nutshell: Carry a mix of JMD for small purchases and tips, use the CC / USD for larger expenses, especially once within tourist zones. 

  • Given the hot and humid tropical climate, pack lightweight and breathable fabrics like cotton and linen.
  • Essentials include multiple swimsuits, a sun hat, sunglasses and a high SPF sunscreen
  • Don't forget Insect repellent, as mosquitoes can be prevelant in certain areas and especially evenings, [Not on our rooftop lounge :-) ]
  • Pack comfortable walking shoes, sneakers, flip flops or sandals for exploring. Water Shoes are highly recommended for activities like exploring waterfalls or rocky beaches.
  • Jamaica uses a 110-volt/ 50-cycle electrical supply, with flat two-pronged plugs, same as used in the US or Canada - as European Traveler don't forget to pack the amount of adapters needed for your devices.

  • High Season is from mid December to April. During this time Jamaica offers the best weather with little rain and plenty of sunshine. 
  • The shoulder Season, November and May - provides a balance of good weather, fewer crouds and better deals.
  • Low Season is from June to October which concides with the rainy and hurricane season. This being said it's the best season for budget travelers. Flights are usually cheaper that time of the year around. Check out our "di summer brawta" package

  • Penalties for Drug offenses are severe. While possession of a smal amount of marijuana has been decriminalized, it is still prohibited to smoke it in public places - our rooftop lounge is yours and therefore . . . . just to your liking
  • It is illegal to wear camouflage-style clothing
